New Beam Ends, Twist Locks, & Updated Shells - December 2025 Monthly Update
Hey Makers! đź‘‹
We’ve been busy this month, and there’s a lot to share. Here’s what’s new:
More Beam End Caps
You guys are building even crazier things with the beams, and the End Caps needed a bit more flexibility (shoutout to, gsohm and johnnysevo for the feedback and beating me to it before I could get to it).
👉 We’ve added a whole set of new End Caps, check them out: New End Caps
Updated Multibin Shells
Small tweaks to make the Shells more consistent and print better:
- Simple Wall Bin walls are now 1 mm thicker to match the Rail Wall Bin thickness.
- All small threads on the Shell Bases now share the same orientation.
- Tweaked the base to avoid printing errors, to force correct bridging.

New Twist Locks
Twist Locks connect to MultiBin Plates with a simple twist. Once they’re in, they stay locked in place, making them perfect for horizontally mounted Plates (think under-desk cable management and other overhead setups).

More Non-Folded Parts
We’ve continued releasing non-folded (aka “supported”) versions of the folded parts.
The two versions are now in separate listings. And we’ve decided to keep both versions since people have different preferences.
So far, we’ve released non-folded:
(More on the way!)
We’ve published our ambitious plans for Multiboard, both in the short-term and long-term.
New Roadmap Page
👉 Take a look: Roadmap
(We’ll be reorganizing it soon so items are displayed in expected release order.)
Behind the Scenes:
New Website in Progress
A completely redesigned Multiboard site is on the way. It’s a much more organized hub for all the resources.
We’ve made a lot of progress this month, but it’s taking a little longer than we expected. Turns out that building software takes a ridiculous amount of time and money 🥲.
👉 You can preview the concept here: https://www.multiboard.io/roadmap
Cable management
The cable management parts are ready for the most part, but we still need to organize the parts, create images, write documentation, and record videos.
The plan is for the cable management to launch as early access after the new website release.
I can’t wait to show you how cool this system is!
Things are slowly starting to ramp up and there is SO much coming in the next few months… Buckle up as things are about to get real interesting!
Keep Making!
