May Release
Hello Everyone,
The May Release is now available to all backers on all platforms. This months release is of the two more unknown dragons the Brown Dragon and the Rust Dragon. These two unique dragons are interesting to unveil at your tables as they generally are uncommon to find even among the dragon world and can be very deadly even among the strongest of dragons.
Brown Dragon - Brown Dragon depicted as fierce and intelligent creatures, these dragons also known as Sand Dragons embellish the wasteland wilderness hidden under the scorching desert sands. Characterized by sand-colored leathery scales, distinctly large elongated mouths, and nimble webbed claws.
Despite the absence of wings, which differentiates them from other dragon species, Sand Dragons are portrayed as masterful diggers with the prowess to navigate through loose dunes at warp speed. Hostel by nature and voracious predators, their unusual dietary habits namely consuming humans.
Another intriguing characteristic, exclusive to brown dragons - the unique yellow hue of their eggs when bathed in bright white light. Demonstrate the regal sand-coloured scales and unparalleled traits of the brown dragon.
Brown dragons and blue dragons, being two types of chromatic dragon that lived in desert environments and liked to burrow into the sand, were considered to be natural enemies. They often fought each other, with their battles being considered legendary among humans.
Rust Dragon - Were planar dragons native to Acheron that had an insatiable hunger for metal. Physically, rust dragons resembled different metallic dragons from the Prime Material plane, such as silver, copper, and brass, except that their scales seemed to be covered by different forms of oxidation and their wings were thin with an iridescent character. Those differences were only in their appearance, as all rust dragons usually possessed a similar set of strengths and abilities. Moreover, rust dragons had somewhat insectoid traits, such as antennae and wings shaped in the resemblance of a butterfly's. Rust dragons' teeth were also unusual in the sense that they protruded from the creature's exoskeleton, instead of its skull.
The main sources of sustenance for rust dragons were ores and metals. They had a particular liking for adamantine, gold, mithral, iron, silver, and steel, but did not turn down other metals. They also enjoyed eating meat, particularly vermin, as palate cleansers between servings of different metals, in order to better appreciate their subtle differences in taste.
Unlike pyroclastic dragons or howling dragons, rust dragons were not exceedingly aggressive or violent. They mainly attacked out of hunger, and even so only to the point where they could secure sustenance. Despite being very focused on the task at hand and not tolerant of much meddling in their affairs, they were not above withdrawing from a hostile situation in which they had the disadvantage.
Another trait that set rust dragons aside from other dragons was that they did not have the habit of hoarding treasure, save for a handful of gems that some of the oldest rust dragons might want to carry.
Next months dragons are the Emerald Dragon and the Armored Dragon. These two will be fun to create, especially the Armored Dragon as it will be the first dragon i am to create with a rider and plated armor.
Thank you for your continued support and hope to continue to grow as the year continues to move on.
