Am I missing something? No matter what way I download these files they will not give me the .stl files for these models. I know its possible because I was able to get it working prior to the imperial measurements being added but I cannot get them to load anymore.
i am super sorry, there is this issue on thangs, if i reupload the STL as a zip, sometimes it doesnt actually do it. it shows in the UI, but if you download its not there.
Such a cool idea! I will print it right away. Do you have any revomendations for multicolor printing for the text? The read me is a bit thin on how to find wich divider you are looking for, and how to get the colors. The printer is at it now, and i hope to test it tomorow.
I would also like the numbered sizes 1-60 and the letter sizes A-Z if it's not too much trouble. I was trying to add text to the plain diver in my slicer but it just doesn't look right.
i just tried it, and there is only really space for 4 symbols (max 5)
and i cant go lower with the fontsize its already at size4 (edge of printability....)
yeah, i'd print it in single color and use a label printer to mark it.
that's also what'll do for future upgrades, since i dont like reprinting. each divider if i got a new drill.
nah, they are printed on a multicolor printer
But after using them for a while, i find it kinda annoying printing new labels for new drills.
I rather have just a stack of dividers, and use a 2d label printer to print a sticker, since this is way faster for new drills imo
the grid is 42mm, so you can fit as many multiple of 42mm inside your drawer as there is space.
it uses the gridfinity baseplates, so if you know gridifnity, this is basically the same
I found this article about Bitfinity fascinating because it shows how smart design can solve very practical problems, like keeping drill bits organized and accessible. I liked how it emphasized flexibility and expandability, which makes it a long-term solution rather than a temporary fix. It reminds me of kukasoittie in the sense that both focus on creativity and efficiency—finding clever ways to make everyday tasks smoother and more enjoyable. Do you think a system

This is fantastic, love the idea. Are the divider labels in metric only? i don't see any imperial bit sizes in the pics or the 3mf files.
i added dividers from 1/64 --> 3/4
hope this fits all your imperial needs :)

but now it should work!
It worked! Thank you!!!

i'd print it in a high contrast e.g. black / white but other than that, the text is as big, as there was space on the divider :)
Bruv loving the concept but is everything ok no imperial sizes huge oversight big mistake
i added dividers from 1/64 --> 3/4

These are the dividers he is looking for. He can go about his business... *Waves hand mystically...
Awesome design
Any tips for printing the labels on non multi colored printers? (i.e. best orientation)
i rather print them blank, and add the label via sharpie or via a label printer.
i intentionally did them angle towards the user, so its easier to read, but harder to print
This is great! Could you also provide divider labels for taps?
give me a list of the sizes you need, and i make it happen
Awesome! I need 2-56 4-40 6-32 5-40 8-32 10-24 10-32 3/16-24 1/4-20 1/4-28 5/16-18 5/16-24 3/8-16 3/8-24 7/16-14 7/16-20 1/2-13 1/2-20

well...

Any chance of adding letter and number sized Dividers? Thanks for having the blank one though. I can do it in Bambu Studio, but it is tedious.
Fantastic! Exactly what I need to store my drill bits. But how do I print the dividers with a single material printer? Is there any tips about this?

What do you mean by label printer? Are the ones in the video above printed like this? Thanks!

Really interested. I built my own drawer system (french cleat). Can the grid system and the trays be customized to specific sizes of drawers?
the grid is 42mm, so you can fit as many multiple of 42mm inside your drawer as there is space. it uses the gridfinity baseplates, so if you know gridifnity, this is basically the same
