i love this thing, how are folks keeping the outer and inner part together? I found using a pipe deburring tool works great at cleaning up brims and fine tuning prints.
Thanks for this! The wife saw this on tic tok so I was given a task. I printed the 16oz version and scaled to 110% so it would fit a Modelo bottle. She loves it! Like others, I did need to sand the lip of the top.
Hey folks π! Iβm getting reviews that the lid is too tight and in some cases too loose. Tolerances for the lid are currently at 0.8mm (two nozzle width) but can also be impacted by bed leveling and extrusion. If itβs too small, size it up 0.5-1% and if itβs too tight, repeated use or sanding will make it easier. Thank you all so much for printing. YOU GUYS ROCK!
Not sure how well it would work but I'd like to see a version that is hollow that you fill with water and freeze it. It's be neat as a way to store certain things cold but not so wet.
I put in one corner, then snapped the next corner in, then pushed it all the way to the edge and wiggled it a bit. I did that on all four edges a few times before snapping the entire lid on. Then I used a wide screwdriver to pry it back off. After a few times, it snaps on easily and comes off by hand. Tight fit is needed to keep cool in, hot out, maybe ice in.

Is the interior loose?
I just took the snips and cut the lip off then smoothed with a wood burner. Fits perfectly

building it now, Will put it with by single can igloo cooler i made last month.
I downloaded the print, but it keeps stopping on the corner of the shell after the first layer. For whatever reason it won't go past that and stops.
maybye try a different slicer
Wow! Where is your tip button?
It won't let me download this print onto my computer. Every time I try it does show up on the slicing app
you need to download all then open up the file and pull individual prints out. thats how i had to anyways
Darn Cool! What material did you use to print?
saw on the tok, nice work on this one

Such a cool design! ππ
My build volume is 150 mm. Is this able to be scaled down and still fit a can?
no

The lid does not fit, a lot of sanding will be needed. The lid needs to be redesigned. Very cool when completed
Printing this now thank you! Cant wait to see it in action!
Saw this on TikTok and have to make it! Thanks!
The lip on the inside of the lid seems to be too large to snap this closed, I'm having a lot of trouble with it
have you tried sanding it a bit?
