Love how this looks! Unfortunately my socket didn't fit well with the base - it'd be very helpful if the author provided a link/dimensions to the socket used.
Had to modify the base to be taller to accommodate the socket, and I also wanted the bulb to be centered within the lamp. Also updated the cutout for the cord.
I'm using a 40 watt A19 LED bulb.
Also created a simple lid so that this wasn't creating an upward spotlight.
0.2 layer height with 0.8 layer width for structure/diffusion.
I have experienced this type of issues also on these and other spiral designs.
What has resolved or reduced this for me is changing to a good quality filament PLA+ and use an filament dryer, I get the RH to around the 30%s or so. That with level bed and clean tip
I had an issue printing this model that I noticed others have experienced as well.
In the last few centimeters of the print, the lines separated and it ended up with this kind of finish.
I tried a few different settings (reduced the speed to 50% and lowered the temperature by 10°), but it didn’t help.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Hello Kraken, Right now i am having the print time of Lara top model for 1 day 4 hours can you please help me reduce the time of it. I remember the lara top takes 7 hours to print in the past
Awesome design! Do you have a link to a .f3d file for Fusion 360. I would like to change the light socket to fit another type of bulb. I've tried importing a step file but, the amount of triangles overwhelms the program. Thanks!
Vc poderia disponibilizar mais arquivos STL para as luminárias e usaremos a mesma base, ou vender os arquivos, estou interessado em mais modelos que utilizam a mesma base.
Mirá los parámetros están en un video en el IG de Kraken, son muy simples. Lo que te recomiendo en base a mi experiencia es que uses CURA para laminarlo, con esos mismos parámetros: Yo intenté de muchas maneras en PRUSA y no pude. Las estoy haciendo en una Ender 3 V2
How do you get the soft shape on the top of the shade? I am using cura spriralize mode, and flipping the model so the top of the shade is on the plate. That gives me a hollow shade, but a flat "sharp" top when it's printed.

vase mode is a parameter of the slicer "spiralize outer contour" in cura. If not u can print it with 0% infill, 0 top layers and 0 bottom layers

Hello I am printing the base but the finish of the product is very back i don't know what is the problem i am facing
I am printing it on Bambu Lab A1 with PLA Pro+ Daisy white.

can you please upload the 3mf file this will make it easier for your customers too
my lamp portion print is printing as a whole unit. there is no hollow in the interior but rather its printing whole inside the lamp poriton

Solucionado cortando los últimos 5mm. Perfecto quedó

Try usign 0.8 line width or higher. U can do it with a 0.4 nozzle increasing the temperature and lowering the speed.
