Prototyping adjustable phone stand improvements

My adjustable phone stand is published, but I'm not jut fully happy with how it looks and works.

The main things I want to improve:

• More 'balance' in how it looks. The rounded edges don't fit well with the hard hex shapes and the thin bottom also doesn't feel right.
• The holes don't offer as much angles as I had hoped. So I'm going to tilt one of them.

Currently I'm printing at 50% scale, as you can see on the top picture. After testing I figured the more center hole is no longer needed. So I this might be the next version:

While it's not really visible in the image. It's also wider and taller than the current version.

Another thing I'd like to try it so make the insert 'click' with this design.

I plan to print both parts tomorrow and then update this post.
