Sentinel Auto turret - Arduino Raspberry Autonomous Mechanical Nerf Blaster DIY Maker Project
Showcase and assembly can be found in this YouTube video https://youtu.be/n2mO05gJzI8
The "Sentinel" is an autonomous turret capable of sweeping an area for enemies and eliminating them using a foam dart. Features code that steadily tracks fast moving targets, a super easy assembly, low hardware cost and a sleek futuristic design for nimble tracking. Each .stl has been iteratively designed and been test printed many times to reach optimal functionality. Files are named logically with quantity and purpose of the object - which eases the assembly.
The turret is designed and programmed for Arduino boards using the PCA9685 servo controller, but you can also re-program it for Raspberry Pi or other boards. Full code for Arduino Servo movement and Python Camera tracking is included in the .zip as .txt files. You will need to download Arduino IDE and VS Code to run the python code. Wiring diagram is included under listing's picture.
The foam dart is launched using a mechanical cartridge that easily and quickly can be reloaded. It features an internal rubber band that can launch the dart approximately 10 meters away.

No big printer is needed! You can print this model on small printers like the A1-mini as I did without having to cut it into smaller pieces.
No multi-filament system is needed The base of the turret features white columns, which can be printed separately without using systems like AMS.
If a part is missing or there is an issue with the model, then feel free to contact me and I will resolve the issue quickly :)
