This was weird

Sometimes I find myself in odd situations when preparing a project. I wanted to scan some pillows to turn them into trays. I liked the idea of messing a little with people’s perception like it did with the cloth bowl. I did not expect that this would be so weird. First, I had to find a cushion that has just the right density and actually placing them to slightly resemble a bowl. After that it took me quite a while to fluff them out just right to have enough tray space but also not lose the cushion shape.

The scan clean process went really smooth, basically just took me 2 hours per scan – a record considering that this can be a multi-day journey (looking at you pineapple coasters!)

No prototypes for this one, first print came out just right!
