Don’t eat them!

A user on Instagram commented on my semi-viral banana fridge magnets that I should also make a croissant. I like croissants but then I also had to make a Pretzel since they are my all-time favorite pasty and they origin in Munich, where I come from. Only two is not a real set so I added in a roll to make it three.

I went out to buy them for 3d scanning but I could not find any good-looking croissants in my desired bendy shape. I therefore made my own! I like cooking more than baking, so this went terribly wrong for the first attempts, but I got out one decent croissant that I am slightly proud of. I made sure to eat everything I made which was slightly too much. At least it was not as bad as with the pineapple scans where I had to eat 3 full pineapples in a matter of days.

Especially the pretzel came out super nice in a two-colored print. Even the little salt pieces work great and easy. I used Polymakers Wood brown, Peanut and Cotton white. There are filaments out there with a stronger color for this print, but it did the job well. The print photos and video are edited, so please make sure to check the filament colors before running out and buying exactly those.
