Super easy to print and put together! The original notebook sold like hotcakes for me and I look forwarding to giving folks another option! Looks great in just about any color. Def play with top layer styles for some fun patterns! This one was done in concentric!
I love the idea of changing our the paper type and everything! I also like how simple it is to assemble and make. I printed lines and grids on the paper, I also used cookiecad limited edition pumpkin spice scented filament and anycubic black pla.
I have never used a 3d printer, I saw this and really wanted it and so I bought it, my local library has a 3d printer and again I have NO IDEA what to do. Do I somehow type something in, I also don't have a PC, I downloaded this file on my android, can I simply plug in and idk, load it in until it's finished printed?
Yeah 3d printing is a bit more involved than that. In short - here you can download just a model. Printers need instructions called GCODE. To make gcode form the model you need a pc and a "slicer" program. Slicing itself can be tricky, there are lots of settings. But I'd guess if your library has a printer they can help you with slicing and using the printer in general - ask there! Also there are tons of tutorials on youtube explaining everything much better)
I downloaded the files. Where are the "buttons" for the rubber band? And how is the 2 color design achieved? I tried painting but there aren't defined edges. New to 3D printing, sorry for the perhaps dumb questions.
Which buttons? And they painting is inside of the 3MF files. For simple surface painting in your slicer you can use the fill tool with low edge detection. Or use the triangle paint option to select the faces.
Hey, love this design! I purchased this today, and Ive printed out myself a notebook, but have a question about the files. If looking at the photos of it all in teal, thats whats included. I thought that the starburst design was included too but dont see those files in the downloaded zip (image 21-25 in your example). Could you direct me to that design? I really like that one and would like to make that one next. Cheers and thanks :)
hey there, those photos are a community make! So i did not print it. This pattern can be achieved with your sliver. In bambu slicer you have to set the surface pattern to this particular star layout!
Hello! Is there an "older" version of this file? It looks like some of the pictures from the community of their prints are different than the one I just downloaded. The one I have is the one in the instruction pictures, but the community prints show a different design with the rubber band going vertically, not horizontally? Thank you!
There's not one in travelers notebook on that either though. I had to scale that one to X:101% Y:137% Z:100% but now I have it sized to fit traveller's notebook inserts. I just wish my filament was better so it looked nicer. That's not something you can fix though. Feel free to upload a new one if you want to have a model sized like this. The inserts are 110 mm W x 210 mm H and perfectly sized thickness wise to fit in this print. They also are held in with elastic bands just like your model uses

Omg. I love the ghost you added. How did you do that??
Looking good!
It would be awesome if a variant with a wood grain texture were added to this awesome design!

What are y'all using as the paper band? Id rather use something more sturdy than a plain rubber band.
A plain rubber band does the job perfectly! Have been using the original notebook for years now and there is no need for something else!

Hi all, I wonder how people get this different faces of the pad? Is it something custom aftermarket ?
Thanks

Is this printable on the Ender 3 Pro for US letter size? I don't want to download if I cannot, I don't have to print all the pieces at the same time.
the ender is a bit too small for it, it'd need 230x230

This is the newer updated version of it, and the older version has been archived!
how do we purchase the archived version?
It is no longer available!
Could you make one of these sized for a travelers notebook insert? it's a5 slim.
I'd recommend my original one! https://than.gs/m/885652

I scaled the A5 sized model with those dimensions. Ran out of room. Thank you for the cool model!
