Nefertiti bust (Pre-Supported) *New Release*
Greetings friends
This is an attempt of me to restore Nefertiti's bust, with absolute respect to the original.
The Nefertiti Bust is a painted stucco-coated limestone bust of Nefertiti, the Great Royal Wife of Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten. It is on display in the Egyptian Museum of Berlin.
The work is believed to have been crafted in 1345 BC by Thutmose because it was found in his sculpture workshop in Tell-el Amarna, Egypt. It is one of the most-copied works of ancient Egypt. Nefertiti has become one of the most famous women of the ancient world and an icon of feminine beauty.
I have restored all the details and damages on her hat, added the cobra that is missing entirely, resculpted her ears and eyes and sculpted the jewels . I added an extra base and carved her name in hieroglyphs.
I hope you like her. This was one of the most rewarding and fun sculpts I have done for a while, even though i was stepping on someone elses footsteps. History is beautiful people..
Enjoy!
