It took me some time to find a pendant kit and I had some issues with the leaves that I didn't push in enough but now that is all solved it is a very nice lamp.
It brings the sun into your house when you light it.
Marron, vert olive, beige Pla Bambulab
Jaune mangue de chez Eryone
Printed this as a Christmas gift for my grandmother, Sunflowers are her favorite and we lost our grandfather some years ago. I thought adding the 60mm lithophane disc to the center was a nice touch. Now she can have the two things she loves the most on her nightstand.
If you decide to do a Litho like I did I recommend printing it in, at minimum, PETG. The Lithophane does touch the bulb and is a very tight fit to get in.
The tolerances were a tad on the small side for some of the pedals and yellow parts of the iris and the bottom cap for the pot BUT that might have been an issue with my printer calibration.
For stem and leafs I used eryone olive
For the petals I used elegoo matte yellow
Pot is giant arm terracotta
And dirt is elegoo matte brown
I used the source links for the wired and bulb and they fit and worked great.
Is it possible to get a pendant light stem that is acceptable for round pendant courds
sourcing the flat pendant cord is tough Able to buy more affordable bulk orders, for the round not flat
I like this one. assembly instructions could use a few more pictures of steps (maybe just me). I did struggled a bit with this but it was my own fault. I think the light I ordered (the recommended one was out of stock) was a hair to big. It went in but not without some elbow grease. my only printed part issue I had was of the bottom iris blades, a few of them pegs did not go in tight and the petals didnt want to stay open. I added some material to the peg and they fit fine.
A few comments: 1. the stem attachments for the leaves could be stronger, they both broke when attaching the leaves.
2. The iris mechanism is misaligned, not sure if that was intentional but looks like they could line up better.
3. Amazon is sold out of the pendant lights maybe a recommended replacement or perhaps a model that supports more E26/27 sockets would be better. You could still get a clamp from the nut on most sockets but the threads on the model make that hard.
Hi, You may need to make sure everything is assembled fully. The Iris mechanism should be loose enough to easily move to have the lamp open and close but the rest of the lamp should hold its position once directed. If the pedals are falling I would think that things aren't fully seated into place.
It is very difficult to obtain the R14 lamp for those of us who do not live in the USA. It would be much better if you published two lamp options or made the iris longer and wider so that it is compatible with more types of bulbs.
Hi, The stem is tall and thin. You may need to print it very slow and on the build plate by itsself. If you are running into issues of the nozzle knocking it over I would suggest also increasing your z-hop. Make sure you have good bed adhesion too, by washing your build plate with dish soap and warm water. I hope this helps.
Heyyyy.... So I really want to make this. I've already printed all the parts. My problem is sourcing the pendant light. The suggested one is now two months out and is extremely specific. And expensive, in the event you want to either sell them or make more than one. I just checked and the $9 shipping dropped off, I'm assuming because of the two month turnaround time on shipping. Has an alternative been found? I ordered a few hoping the threading would be long enough but they aren't working out.
Alignment issue where the hole for the light socket going into the "Stem Top" is not centered on the flat area. When I assemble the "Stem Top" to the "Iris Base" with the light installed, they are offset.
How does everyone make the iris opener tight? I feel like mine is loose even when trying to tighten it and causing the petals to droop when not holding it.
Once you assemble the iris and petals, it will screw on to the dimmer light. The black ring can be screwed down afterwards. Then screw in the light bulb. I am working on an assembly video
A video would be very helpful! I’m having issues getting the whole top part to a good tightness. I can’t get the petals to stay open. I love your work and can’t see what else you make!
hey, I love the design, but when I started to print it I realized the stem is to long for the z height of my printer. i have a prusa MK4, so I guess this will be a relatively common problem. would it be possible for you to make a version with a shorter or two-part stem available? that would be great!

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing
Je vois que tu as le même problème que moi . Il y a un décalage dans le serrage de la fleur . Je le poster

Are there any instructions or an instructional video for assembly?
There are instructions when you download! check the PDF file (:
Have we found an alternative for the pendant light?

Love this design!
I appreciate the feedback! I try and post weekly fixes so at least some of these recommendations will be implemented
Ein GU10 Sockel wäre für die Lampe perfekt.
Ah oui , pas bête ! Avec un adaptateur pour E27. Car son ampoule , on ne l'a pas en France 😰
A bonsai or small orange tree would be neat to add to my collection of your plants. My dining room table is getting full
the iris mechanism is loose and causes the pedals to fall when not holding it. is there a fix?

I will look into this and see what I can do. Thank you for the feedback.
No Matter what I do the Stem keeps breaking while printing.

I'm unsure which compatible bulb model to use. Would the developer kindly specify?"
The lightbulb we used is linked in the discription.
I downloaded it but don't know which module needs to be activated. Could the creator please advise?
we recommend using the easy print 3mf file in Bambu Studio
I would love an assembly video!! Also if the stem could articulate do you could aim the light down more, that would be great!!

Does anyone know which pendant is suitable on EU amazon stores? I have some pendants but I cannot screw them far enough in the flower :(
Where is the assembly video at?
There are assembly instructions in the pdf when you download. But i will likely be making assembly videos for everything this month
Is there assembly instructions?
There is a PDF in the download. I am working on a video as well
How do I attach the actual flower part to the stem? Having some trouble figuring it out.

Let me see what I can do.
Look forward to making one! Is there an assembly guide for it?
there is a pdf in the files
Ah ok, that wasn't there when I 1st downloaded it!
In the future i"ll be making much better assembly instructions and assembly videos. keep an eye out for that!
