Looking forward to printing this! I'm new to 3D printing so could use some help.
I'm using the Creality K2 and the Creality software, as BambuLabs doesn't have a profile for the K2. What settings should I change in Creality's software so I can successfully print this out?
Hi! And welcome! I am definitely happy to help! You should be able to use more default settings for this design just be sure that you have a clean build surface (washed with dish soap and warm water) that way you can ensure good bed adhesion.
Thank you! These are the error messages I'm facing:
The configuration may be generated by a newer version of CrealityPrint. Some values have been replaced. Please check them:
"enable_overhang_speed" (Slow down for overhangs)
: "1,1" was replaced with false
"ensure_vertical_shell_thickness" (Ensure vertical shell thickness)
: "enabled" was replaced with "ensure_all" (All)
"nozzle_type" (Nozzle type)
: "hardened_steel,hardened_steel" was replaced with "undefine" (Undefined)
Hi! all of these errors sound like they are happening due to the settings we have in the 3mf in Bambu and they may not be transferring to CrealityPrint well for you. A work around that works for most people is downloading Bambu Studio and following our Getting Started page.
One tip about the magnets is that you need to check their polarity. I've only printed one side of the book and was able to insert them during the pause. The next step is that I'll put the opposite magnets on that printed part and wait for the second cover to pause and mate up the books to put the magnets in with their correct opposite polarity.
I'm having difficulty printing the hole grid. I've tried twice and both times have resulted really strong overhangs that make the pieces difficult to slide down and not very aesthetic. I've used a deburring tool without much luck. Any other suggestions?
Hi, I'm sorry to hear the grid is giving you so much trouble. What printer and filament are you using? When we see sagging overhangs that is usually due to insufficient cooling or too high of a flow rate. I would suggest increasing the cooling to 100% and/or lower the bridge flow rate by .1. Sometimes cutting off a segment of the part and testing just one section can help narrow down what works best for your printer and filament
Great design! I love these playbooks.
To make it easier to remove the pucks, it would be great if the grid could be lifted so the pucks could fall out from the bottom.
The idea is very neat, but i could not get any success with the rubber feet. I bought the 3M version from Amazon and another brand to see if it makes a difference. After putting superglue, the rubber feet stays on the side of the book, but it STILL slides. I even thought, the weight could be an issue. I printed 5%, 10% and 15% infill for all items. But it still slides on a wooden coffee table. which makes this quite un-sellable. I cant even display it on my shelf or table at the markets to sell.
I believe the angle of the rubber feet needs to change. It is already in elliptical form and when it is at an angle, only a little portion of it is touching the surface, which is not enough to stop it from sliding. You can all the pics people have posted, they are either on carpet or on a cloth table runner. major limitation of this series of models if you want to sell them
Hi! we just released an update yesterday (2/26/26) to fix this issue. If you re-download it will be the newest version. You can also find all of our design updates by joining out Discord server.
Hi! How recently have you downloaded the file? Originally we had the holes put in as a pause but have since changed it to have the magnets insert after printing is complete.
My only issue is the magnets don't hold well to keep the book closed. I made sure the polarity was going the correct direction and it doesn't keep closed at all, but love the print.
Hi, we noticed a lot of people were having this same issue so we updated the model on 11/24 to add more magnets as well as removed the pause so the magnets can be added after the print finishes. This should help fix all the issues people were experiencing.
Pretty new to 3D printing and am using the Flashforge 5m Pro. Successfully printed most of the plates but had issue with trying to print the pages. Looks like the 3mf file uses a .4mm nozzle and PLA. If Im using a .6mm nozzle and PETG filament will this still work as long as I change those in the slicer or do I need to also change things like the speed of the print?
Hi! A 0.6 mm nozzle will naturally lay down more filament than a 0.4 mm one, which can sometimes cause fit issues, so just keep an eye on that. You’ll also want to make sure your PETG is well-dried before printing so it doesn’t hold any moisture. You definitely want to update the nozzle size and material in your slicer, but we’d also recommend slowing your print speeds down to the settings your specific PETG brand suggests (usually found on the box or the manufacturer’s website).
i dont get the book all the way closed its like the middle part doesnt fit.. it doesnt really snap shut like in the videos.. anyone has the same problem? or do u have a solution forgecore?? ty
Hm. That is definitely a tricky one. Is there anyway you can join my Discord channel so we can see more pictures and help solve this? It'll be a lot easier to ask questions and send pictures there too. It looks, from what you shared, that the grid 'pages' may not be fully inserted into the book or that maybe something else happened when printing, but it's hard to say exactly
i put some weight on it and put some glue with my glue gun. let it try to make the surface less friction and that seams to have done the job. ty anyways?
I couldn't fit the magnets in when the print paused. I would have needed to hammer the magnet into the hole to get it to fit but I didn't want to force it while the print was on the bed before it was done.
Any tips to solve this issue?
We updated the 3mf to fix the magnet hole size and removed the pause since that seemed to cause people too many issues. If you would like to print it again, you can re-download (just a reminder that re-downloading doesn't effect your monthly downloads.)
when i put it on my anycubic studio slicer it says it has to change stuff from the newest software and gives me an error code "tree_support_wall_count -1 not in range" and "raft_first_layer_expansion -1 not in range" i have a kobra 3 combo what do i do to fix it?
Hi! That error usually happens because the file was exported from Bambu Studio, and Anycubic Studio doesn’t recognize some of its settings. You can fix it by opening the file in Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer instead (both support those parameters and will load it correctly without needing to export to STL). If you prefer to keep using Anycubic Studio, you’d just want to export the STL from the 3mf file from one of the other slicers that way.
I would try closing it and re-opening it and if it still has that error. You could try printing it and ignoring the error but since I don't see the error on my end when I slice it for my X1C, I'm sot quite sure why its throwing an error for you.
Please re-download! Just fixed an issue that caused the magnet holes not to appear. Very sorry about that. I hope I didn’t make you waste your filament. Won't happen again in the future

Ah I see. Unfortunately the K2 hasn't been added as av available option in BambuStudio as of yet.
Yes you do need to be sure they are going the right way. We may re-think the magnet insertions for a future update
Hello, same issue here with my Bambu Lab A1. With a lot of weight on it and now it's better but the magnets are still not doing their jobs.
Hi, I'd love to help you figure this out. Is the center page pushed all the way into the spine?

Hello,
No holes for the magnets printed. I printed 2 covers and no holes. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
No holes were at the pause or the final print.
Hi How recently did you download the design?
Hello,
I printed cover twice, no magnet holes. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
Hi! How recently have you downloaded the file? Originally we had the holes put in as a pause but have since changed it to have the magnets insert after printing is complete.
I downloaded about a week ago.it paused but I did not see holes then either.
I just re-downloaded and the holes appear. I must have downloaded the old one. Thanks for your response.

Could you do a Spine with text in Spanish: "CUATRO EN LINEA" , or let the text editable? Thanks!
Does any part of this need supports?
This was designed to print support free, but if you feel like you need them you are welcome to add them.
do i need an ams for this print to look good or does the outer book shell print seperatly
Hi, an ams makes it easier but you could potentially do manual color changes if an ams isn't an option or you

Hi, is the hole grid sliding all the way down? Would you be able to add a photo so i can see what the issue is?
i added it u should be able to see
Hi, I see it now. Did you add the magnets? The magnets are what hold its shut.
yes i did add the magnets...

The same thing happened with mine. I bought the magnets mentioned and they do not fit.
We updated the 3mf to fix the magnet hole size and removed the pause since that seemed to cause people too many issues. If you would like to print it again, you can re-download (just a reminder that re-downloading doesn't effect your monthly downloads.)
Hi, this is an issue we are looking into. we will have it fixed as soon as we possibly can
the right size went in with no needed pressure!
when i put it on my anycubic studio slicer it says it has to change stuff from the newest software and gives me an error code "tree_support_wall_count -1 not in range" and "raft_first_layer_expansion -1 not in range" i have a kobra 3 combo what do i do to fix it?

On Bambu X1C I keep getting an error message on plate 2 that says X,Y compensation can't be used because it is also painted.
Hi, That sounds frustrating. Is your Slicer fully updated? Sometimes this error occurs when the slicer needs updated.
I'm using Bambu Studio and it is the latest. Do you think it's ok to just print it anyway?
I would try closing it and re-opening it and if it still has that error. You could try printing it and ignoring the error but since I don't see the error on my end when I slice it for my X1C, I'm sot quite sure why its throwing an error for you.
Is there a trick for getting the 'covers' on the book? I'm having a hard time and afraid I'll break the connectors!
Push a little harder than you think you should. that's when they'll go in!
If the hinges accidentally come apart from adding too much force, don't worry, they just snap back in place
Thanks! Ended up using a rubber mallet. Did the job!
Hey! Really nice design! Maybe you could add some kind of an inset for rubber feet so they look better and do not become detached? Thank you
Thanks!
The rubber feet have to poke out just a little bit, so they contact the table. I recommend using some super glue so they don't fall off!
Great idea, but I can't find any magnet holes in the book cover.
Please re-download! Just fixed an issue that caused the magnet holes not to appear. Very sorry about that. I hope I didn’t make you waste your filament. Won't happen again in the future
