I was hoping for a big pumpkin!! This is awesome!
Idea for the Chess pieces, pies! Maybe different slices of pies. Full pie is king and queen one with whipped cream or something on top. 1/2 pie bishop, 3/4 pie knight, empty pie pan rooke, individual slices pawns and such. I'm excited to see what you pick! You make awesome things!
Hi I am very new to 3d printing (today actually lol) and im trying to open this in creality slicer 4.8. it opens the other prints ive downloaded today but for some reason this one doesn't seem to open. thanks in advance. your prints are awesome!
Hi, Our 3mf files don't seem to like certain slicers due to the settings we include to make the prints come out better. We highly recommend trying Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer as they seem to handle the setting details we have in these designs. These slicers are both super user friendly and support a wide variety of printer brands.
Is anyone else having trouble printing the cup, even with supports on? My first two attempts looked aweful at the base. Today I went into orca slicer and the flashforge fork of orca and it looks like the cup isn’t sitting flat. The preview shows the first layer not printing on the bed. When I drop the model by 0.2 mm, the preview shows the first layer printing properly. I will know if the problem is solved later today.
Hi, I'm so sorry that you're having so many issues with the cup. I'd love to help you figure this out. I would start fresh by re-downloading the model just to be sure nothing got moved around by mistake. Open it in Orca Slicer or Bambu Studio as those seem to open our files best. and re-slice. Make sure your build plate is washed with dish soap and warm water and add glue to your pei plate if you are stull having adhesion problems. I hope this helps!
Yes, if you’re opening the 3MF file in Bambu Studio, it already has a pause built in. You’ll insert the magnets when the printer pauses. The pause occurs on the last layer of the pieces, just before the magnet holes are bridged over.
I printed the Orange Pieces try and there was no auto-stop, and I'm pretty sure I loaded the 3MF file. Can you indicate where that stop is set or what layer it should stop on?
Hi, I did just look and there should be an auto pause on the tiles and checker pieces; The pause occurs on the last layer of the pieces, just before the magnet holes are bridged over, it looks like it happens on layer 22 for the orange and 19 for the white. This may be different if you aren't using Bambu Studio or Orca; as other slicers don't love these settings from Bambu Studio.
Thanks... I am using Bambu Studio, so I'm not sure what happened to the stop, but it was probably user error. Added the stop for the orange and everything is printing as expected.
Hi, We added an alternative to the large magnets in the description and the magnet sleeves you will need for them are in the 3mf file! I hope this helps!
This is the coolest print ever! I was wondering if you could make a stem that has a top on it as for me it feels unfinished without it being complete. I could forgo the dice tower option. Also for the Gord pieces, one tray of just one color would be super helpful because my printer hates detailed multi color prints and switching back and forth between colors is making it very angry :). You are amazing! Thank you for making such cool prints!
We can definitely look into another stem option. As for the Gourd pieces you can definitely split them into separate objects and move them around however you'd like. Here is How: Right click on the grouping-> select "split" -> select "to objects" Then you just want to be sure you either re-paint the supports on the knight pieces or switch them to "Auto tree supports" and select "on build plate only"
Hi, for the large magnets, you will want to glue them in to place for them to stay; as they are too strong to hold in place with only friction.
The magnet sleeves are in the 3mf file for easy printing! I hope this helps.
Is the keyring supposed to snap into the slot at the bottom? I didn't order the one in the description, just checking the fit of one I have at home. It's loose. Thanks!
Hi, Thank you for the question. The keyrings are meant to be loose! That way the board can rotate around them properly. Gluing in the tiles into place, will hold the keyrings in place. I hope this helps!
Got my first one made and ready for a festival starting today! What's the intent of the 3/4 around ring in the base? Is it just a track for the keychain?
I'm so glad you like it! I hope it is a hit at your festival today. The track is there just so that the key ring doesn't need to line up perfectly, anytime you are assembling the pumpkin. That keyring makes opening an closing the pumpkin a lot easier. I hope this helps.

I second the cornucopia chess pieces but also consider different varieties of gourd. I cant wait to make this
Thank you! I'm so glad you like it!
This is your best design to date. The chess sets are so wildly popular for my sales
Really appreciate that! A ton of thought and effort was dumped into this design So really glad you like it!
Perhaps the coracopia pieces could translate to the chess pieces
great project! my son is very excited for this after the succulent chess. does the yahtzree cup fit somewhere spesifficly?
I am so glad you and your son are excited for it! The Cup should fit into the pumpkin above the playing cards!

Thank you so much for the suggestion and support! It means so much!

I fixed the Cup by lowering it by 0.3 mm. Once I saw the first layers were not printing I understood the problem. Not sure why my files were different
Do you glue the stem?
Yes, you do need to glue on the stem
I get a warning that the cup has floating regions, and that I should reorient or enable supports. Will it print as-is?
I should print fine from the 3mf. You can disregard the warning on that part.
Is there a certain time i put the little magnets in the pieces when they are printing?
Yes, if you’re opening the 3MF file in Bambu Studio, it already has a pause built in. You’ll insert the magnets when the printer pauses. The pause occurs on the last layer of the pieces, just before the magnet holes are bridged over.

I wish I could find the magnets. So far I've only been able to find the small ones. Is there any wiggle room for another size?
Hi, We added an alternative to the large magnets in the description and the magnet sleeves you will need for them are in the 3mf file! I hope this helps!
Thanks. I did see those but they're not available anymore either! I guess everyone is playing gourd games!

large magnets fit very loose. any suggestions?
do you have print file for the magnet sleeves?

ah , i stand corrected. woulda bit me , if it was a snake
