Designed specifically for large scale printers, Knitted Tree Planter is over 50cm in diameter and over 35cm in height!

This project was done in collaboration with Fused Form (https://fusedformcorp.com/). The model shown was printed on their Pellet FF600 printer with HIPS pellets. It took 5 days to print and weighs 12kg!

Download includes two versions of the planter. The “No liner” version has open knit geometry but is not watertight. The “With Liner” version has an inner liner, allowing it to hold water depending on your materials and hardware.

If you are not able to print it at this size, the file can be scaled down as needed.
