Does anyone have any general help for downloading the code to the arduino? We seem to have all of the libraries downloaded and the code verifies and we download it successfully, but then it doesn't work when we try to work the actual model. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you or anyone on this project show a pic of the wiring in Lora board of B2EMO? It´s not clear in the diagram. Thanks.

That would help me out as well

The amazon link for a pot kit contains multiple resistance pots (5k, 10k, 20k, 50k, and 100k in the one I got), but the build instructions (bom, wiring diagram, and assembly step) don't specify which one to use; new to arduino, so idk how much this matters?

Hi, did you ever get your B2EMO to work properly. My son and I are working on one and can't get the motors to the wheels to work - wondering if it is a code issue because the wiring looks correct. Did you encounter any similar issues? Did you find a way to copy and paste the code so that it worked correctly? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm fairly certain these are used as voltage dividers (you apply ground in one end and +5 in the other and then measure the voltage on the center output). So the resistance doesn't really matter. Pick a 10k one. They are very common (same as the steering knobs I think).

The Face.stl part has non-manifold geometry that causes an entire band to be left out when slicing for me (in bambu studio); I'll try switching over to the windows version and see if its autofix magic works

Update: reprint after using Bambu Studio (on Windows) auto repair feature came out Fine :tm: so not blocked by this; would probably be best tho to upload a fixed Face.stl for other folk tho

Yes, we figured out the same . . . was wondering why it kept printing so janky!

So let's talk about screw heads: the BOM doesn't call out any particular head types, but as you scroll through the assembly instructions, you'll see mostly a lot of button heads, but also a few flat (countersunk) heads. In particular the fit/tolerance test objects (ext spiral + ext 2nd) wont fit a button head, requiring instead a conical flat head (technically the ext gear spur is what I believe will receive the screw head eventually, but digressions...)

I'm printing now. Ordered everything from Amazon. Except for things I already have. I do want to add a camera and a motion detector. Do you have the whole thing in a Fusion or a assembled STEP file? I use Fusion. Just asking.

Anyway, I plan on building this to chance away the pigeons on my balcony. I might add some wavy arms. The pigeons around here don't scare easily. Maybe add a laser pointer.

That sounds interesting. I wish I knew Fusion enough to make this, but I used Blender for all of it

Am I doing something wrong? I don't see the PDF in the download.

Something is bugging. I am trying to upload it

It's there now. Thank you!

Yeah, the (updated?) PDF seems to be missing now since the Hat stl was uploaded?

Joshua C

Looks like the Hat stl is missing, however there is a wear and tear version of it.

Also BOM list in the pdf is missing the guts upper and hat parts.

Okay, very excited about this project, it'll actually be my first crack at arduino things; parts order placed, will start printing parts soon while waiting on those to arrive.

I had a lot of problems getting the code to copy/paste cleanly out of the PDF, so I've posted my own cleaned up copy here fwiw: https://github.com/jcorbin/b2emo_rc_toy

Also, what license is this model/project under? I wasn't able to easily tell when writing attributions alongside my cleaned up code...

Yes, where did you find the RH_RF95.h? I'm getting an error because that is missing. Any help downloading the code would be very helpful . . . I'm new to Arduino IDE.

Mau G

Thanks, I'm using them. Where did you download the RH_RF95.h library?? I'm having issues compiling and I think it's due to this.

Did you find this? If so, can you share where?

I knew I would miss something. Updated the files and the pdf

Looks amazing! Jumping in on a the build asap. I noticed that the amazon link for the M0 Feather is wrong. It links to the LoRa FeatherWing rather than the Feather M0 with LoRa

Thank you for letting me know. Updated the link
