TIKO

TIKO

I’ve just created a new, more complete presentation format for TIKO, and it will become my standard way of presenting all my Arkitektoy models on Thangs – the only platform where I publish my work.

TIKO is now officially part of my Arkitektoy Pack 1 collection on Thangs. He’s a small mascot you can 3D print and assemble with no glue and no screws – everything is held together with Arkitektoy dowels.

The model shown in the photo was printed in PHA filament from Bosk Regen (Québec), as an example of an eco-responsible material that works beautifully with this design.

In this new TIKO release you’ll find:

  • 2 ready-to-print 3MF build plates (large body parts on Plate 1, small parts and dowels on Plate 2)
  • all individual STL files, already oriented in their optimal print position
  • 2 printable guides (PDF) in French and English
  • and the EduLab 1 – Tolerances and dowels module, to help you dial in the perfect fit for Arkitektoy joints on your own printer

If you print TIKO, I’d love to see your results — especially if you use recycled or bio-based filaments.
Tell me which filament you used and how the dowels behaved on your machine!
