The British Stuart V (M3A3) Recce was a specialized light reconnaissance vehicle, often modified by removing the turret to enhance speed and visibility for scouting roles in Italy and Northwest Europe. Used extensively by British and Commonwealth armored regiments from 1943–1945, these vehicles were often equipped with extra machine guns and stowage bins for crew gear.
