The British Carden-Loyd Mk VI was a widely exported, lightweight, two-man tankette produced by Vickers-Armstrongs (1927–1930) for reconnaissance and infantry support. As the final, most successful variant, it weighed 1,800 kg ( lbs), reached 40 km/h ( mph) via a Ford Model T engine, and typically mounted a .303 Vickers machine gun, serving in numerous armies during the interwar period and early WWII.
