XL Gingerbread Man šŸŽ„ XL Gingerbread Man Build Guide šŸ› ļø This guide is for the XL Gingerbread Man model, designed for print bed sizes of 300x300x300 mm and larger. 🌟 Initial Preparation & Notes

  • Assembly: Glue is required for the final assembly. I strongly recommend performing a dry build first to understand part placement.
  • Internal Space: This XL version incorporates more internal space than previous models.
  • Connectors:
    • The entire model uses one standard connector size, except for the unique base-to-leg connector.
    • All standard connectors are conveniently located on a single print plate.
  • Smaller Parts: Decorative parts (eyes, buttons, etc.) do not use connectors; they simply slot into place but still require gluing.
  • Base Option: Due to the wide spread of the legs, the base is split into two parts. A base is optional, as the model stands perfectly well without it. āš™ļø Printing & Filaments
  • Supports: Some supports are required.
    • Advanced users can manually add supports to critical areas only.
    • We suggest setting the Top Z distance to 0.275 mm for easier removal.
  • Filaments Used: Overture Brown, Bambu Basic White, Red, Mistletoe Tree, and Black.
  • Scaling:
    • If scaling, first choose the correct base size for your printer, as it has adjusted tolerances.
    • I recommend scaling up the XL version and scaling down the "Not So XL" version.
    • For significant scaling, please print a small test piece to check the fitment. If parts are too tight, scale them down an additional 1-2%. šŸ—ļø Step-by-Step Assembly The build is fairly straightforward, involving fewer parts than our other XL models. I. Base & Legs (Optional Base)
  1. Base: If using the base, join the two base parts using 3 standard connectors.
  2. Base to Legs: Attach the base to the legs using the 4 unique base-to-leg connectors.
  3. Legs to Body: Connect each leg to the main body using 4 standard connectors per leg.
    • Tip: Insert the connectors into the leg first, note their angle, and slide the leg into the body at the same angle for easy connection. II. Arms & Head
  4. Arms to Body: Attach each arm to the main body using 4 standard connectors per arm.
    • Tip: Ensure the arms are at the correct angle before sliding them on.
  5. Head to Body: The main body has 4 alignment pins for the head and uses 3 standard connectors. Slide the head into place. III. Hat
  6. Hat Base to Head: Use 4 standard connectors to attach the hat base.
  7. Hat to Hat Base: Use 4 standard connectors to join the hat to the hat base.
  8. Hat Tail: Use 2 standard connectors to join the hat tail to the hat.
  9. Bobble: Use 1 standard connector to attach the bobble. IV. Decorations (Smaller Parts) These parts slot in and do not use connectors, but they must be glued.
  10. Arm/Leg Trim: Pay close attention to the part names (Left/Right) and orientation, as they only fit in one way.
  11. Buttons & Holly: Attach the 3 buttons, followed by the holly leaf and berries on top.
  12. Bow Tie: Attach the bow tie.
  13. Face: Attach the mouth, eyes, and eyebrows to the face. āœ… Finalizing the Build Once you are confident all parts are in the correct place and the dry build is complete, it is time to apply glue. Congratulations! You have successfully built the XL Gingerbread Man!
