Awareness ribbons are short, folded loops. It is a universal symbol used by individuals and organizations to show support, or raise consciousness, for various health conditions, disabilities, and social causes, honor survivors and remember victims, Different colours and patterns represent distinct movements. Because many colours share multiple causes, organizations they are also generally associated with a month or the year too.
