Qui Gon's Print-In-Place Lightsaber
Qui-Gon’s Collapsing Lightsaber Print-in-Place Version
This Lightsaber is designed to be printed all as one part as a single print-in-place assembly containing both the saber and the blade. It prints 211mm tall but extends to over 1000mm long.
The Replaceable Blade and the [Dual Extruder versions are available to my Thangs Members.
Printing Supports are not required, there is a built in support for the on/off switch. I have detailed instructions on how to print collapsing swords on my website. I would suggest printing the test print first.
Printed on the Muldex rep-rap IDEX printer

could you make darth maul
HA!! Funny you say that considering what is on my printer right NOW!!!
So i printed it out but it wont fully extend without me pulling on the blades. Even when i feel them all get tight the full length sits at around 27 inches(685mm) instead of 1000mm. i did not change the scale
Look for a burr on the inside of the blades. Its probably from elephants foot.
I'm a newbie but trying to learn fast. Katana Sword So I put it in Creality Slicer, CR 10 Smart Pro. And it sticks, won't extend all the way.. Took 18.5 hours. Put it in Cura and it says 24 hours but I have not tried printing it. Do you have settings for Creality Slicer, litthe confused where they call things different
Sorry I don't have that type of printer or use that slicer so I cant give you settings. I would find and tune the test print first before printing it again.
