Baby Flying Serpent 2025
This is the 2025 Remake of the BABY Flying Serpent. The 2025 Remake of the adult was released last month. Like the adult, the original Baby Flying Serpent had flaws that needed updating.
This 2025 Version has new feathers, less overhangs, thicker feathers, and updated wings! This version was specifically designed to fix the wing bed adhesion issue that the original had, giving much more surface area to the base of the wings!
Again, I tried very hard to keep this version as close as possible to the original since it was such a favorite! I also included a fun .3MF Color File! I hope you all enjoy this!

3D PRINTING SETTINGS
FDM Settings 3 walls 10-25% infill No supports Try brims if you have adhesion issues. Models tested between 60-100% generally
Resin Settings No supports, flat on plate 50 um layer thickness Light off delay can be helpful to let resin drip from links.
Proper bottom exposure tuning is recommended. Models, particularly in clear resins, can suffer from overexposure and fused links. The Ameralabs Town testing is highly recommended to tune your settings as to get proper articulated prints! Exposure varies greatly between resins, printers, and environments.

Hi, I am trying to print this on the Bambu X1 and I keep getting a message saying that there are floating regions. Is that normal? Love your design
Yeah1 The slicers don't like my loops sometimes haha, you're good to go
Sorry to bug you but do you know if there is a setting I can adjust to help with the joint of the wing. Every time I try to print it at less than 80% of the size, it sticks and cannot move. Sorry to bother you
Hey there! I'd check your overhangs and cooling! I also have a Discord thats public as well that you may have an easier time with troubleshooting in discord.gg/cinderwing3d
