Pina Twist Off Drip Tray Pot

I made this pot because I kept overwatering my plants and wanted something that looked a bit more exciting on the windowsill. So I came up with this pineapple-inspired planter with a built-in drip tray you can twist off in one smooth motion—no threads, no fuss.
Thanks to its diagrid surface, the pot has a playful, textured look that reminds me of a pineapple skin, and it also feels nice to hold. Even better, the whole thing prints in place without any supports, so you can go straight from your slicer to the printer without extra prep.
It fits small succulents with up to 70mm diameter. Scaling up is possible however wall thickness is optimized for this size.
Using it is simple: when water collects in the drip tray, just twist it to detach, empty it, and pop it back on. The fit is snug but easy to handle.
Components You’ll Need Just your printer—no extra parts required.
Printing Tips Standard settings are all you need. I’ve included a 3MF file, so you can simply load it and print. No supports necessary, and the clearances are pre-tuned.
Hope this pot brightens up your space and keeps your plants happy! I’d love to see what colors you choose—share your makes if you’d like!
