Cleirre Rethen is a fabled Castle of the True King, Ellor. In his age, he ruled the land without question, but like all ages, like all dynasties, they come to an end. King Ellor’s nemesis was the Wolf, a band of barbarians led by two brother, Grio.dyness the strongest, and they rallied the barbarian clans to sack castles and cut the True King off from his allies. And they took his throne and ruled in his stead. The game of Cleirre Rethen is a moch-up of that struggle. In this game, the players each attempt to knock down the walls of their opponent’s walls and score hits on their castle’s totems. This would be symbolic of scoring hits on chapels or strong walls that struck fear into their hearts of the opposing army until, after enough solid strikes, the opponent surrendered – to avoid death. Take enough Tokens (knock down enough walls), and the winning player takes the throne and rules the land! That is the goal of this game. Using classic siege engines that you build in-game, attack defences that each of you build in-game, real-time, take your throne or bend a knee to the other person! This is a game of either skill or luck. This is a game of strategy in choosing whether to defend or attack. And in choosing how to attack and where. This is your chance to rule.
