I made these templates to make it easier for more people to join the Thangs D7 tread challenge without having to rebuild the shoe base from scratch.

The Blank Shoe version has the original tread removed and a flat bottom surface, making it much easier to design, sculpt, and test new tread ideas.

The Negative Shoe Shape can be used to quickly cut or boolean your tread pattern into the correct shoe shape, helping speed up the workflow and keep designs aligned to the D7 sole.

The Shoe D7 Tread - Template can be printed on A4 paper and used as a base for sketching a tread. If you turn your sketch into an SVG you can use in in TinkerCAD to make your own extrusion
