Holiday Stockings (4 sizes)
This file is for 3D printing a holiday stocking textile. Read the description for important information :)
In addition to a 3D printer, you will need - -Mesh (I like using nylon based illusion mesh, or a Polyester / Spandex power mesh) -A base lining (I used a soft fleece in the examples) -A sewing machine with basic knowledge of a zipper foot, and a straight stitch. There are many ways you can sew these up. See the included PDF guide to see how I did it. -Some time (It takes me between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the size and materials chosen)
There are four sizes with their own negative part modifiers to create your own custom textile. There are basic square grid patterns that are available to use as well. Please refer to the included PDF guides to walk you through how to modify textiles with SVG and STL files. There is also a PDF included to demonstrate how negative part modifiers are used. There is an extra large stocking that is too large for Bambu Lab printers, but can be used with print volumes at least 360mm x 360mm. I'm working on a longer one that can be pieced together, but that is not included, yet.
