Dragon Con inspired textile
This is a Dragon Con inspired pattern that you can 3D print onto a mesh textile for a variety of cosplay or artistic endeavors.
Print the first layer, pause at layer 2. Place mesh and magnets to hold tension (see included PDF). Resume the print. Wait for it to finish, and remove the print.
There is no need for any z-offset adjustment between layers as long as your layer height is equal to or greater than your fabric thickness.
Included -
A PDF for 3D Printing on Fabric A 3mf file that has one pre-painted portion to pattern, a pre-painted 2x2 pattern, and 2 sizes of textiles, all with a pause command placed at layer 2. The textiles are .72mm tall, with a layer height of .24mm for a total of 3 layers. You can resize the base textile as you'd like and copy - > paste and move it directly adjacent. You can repeat this as many times as your build plate allows. There are also larger textiles that you can load into your slicer and add your own pause command (each slicer may differ on how to do this).
You can use this in combination with negative modifiers to create your own textiles for cosplay crafting. The example photo is of it being used with this clutch file - https://than.gs/m/1367536

Holy moly!!!!! This looks outstanding! There is so much potential, thank you for sharing your print!
I am just starting out with 3D printing and am totally obsessed with fabrics. Today I learned how to do colour painting and am thrilled with the result.
