📏 Measuring Instructions
To check the right size before printing:
Open the crown file in your slicer.
Measure the inner width (side to side) of the crown — this should match the width of your head at the temples.
Average adult head width is around 15–16 cm.
If the inner width looks smaller than your measurement, increase the model scale slightly (for example, 105%). If it looks too wide, reduce it (for example, 95%).
You can also measure the front-to-back curve in slicer view if you want a snug fit around a wig or mannequin.
After printing, use a hairdryer or heat gun on low to gently reshape or flex the crown for perfect adjustment.
For display purposes:
Default model size fits most standard mannequin heads.
For large busts or fantasy statues, scale up to 120–130% for a more dramatic look.
💡 Tip: You can print a small section (like the front middle piece) to test sizing before committing to the full print.
