If you didn't already know, this year is the 20th anniversary of when the Twilight book was released. For some reason, in the recent years the series has made a bit of a resurgence (most likely because a bunch of us are feeling nostalgic and the current state of the world is a bit... lacking in enjoyment).

But I digress.

Here's a Twilight Book Nook for you! Painstakingly sculpted from scratch in Nomad Sculpt over a few days (those fingers were a biiiiiiitch to get right!), and multiple test prints had to be done to test for tolerances and fit.

And it's now ready for you!

The print file consists of two plates:

• The arms and the apple
• The box they fit in
• The arms and the apple have been set up to print by object, and the box will print on its own plate. Obviously, if you want to print them all separately, you're absolutely fine to do so.

Some print recommendations:

• I printed these at 0.16mm layer height and the layer lines are barely visible. Using a matte white for the arms definitely helped with this.
• I used a silk red for the apple, so the print profile has the speeds way down for the outer wall for the apple. If you decide to use a basic or matte PLA for the apple, feel free to reset the speed to normal.
• I used a concentric top layer (so that the top layers for the apple was a bit nicer looking) and a 10% crosshatch infill. Feel free to adjust this to your liking if you prefer.

Assembly:

• I superglued the apple to the palms of the hand, the seam side of the apple facing the palms.
• Then used a few drops of glue on the top flat parts of the arms and slid them into the box.
• Adjust accordingly.
