Water Grids
A minimal 3D printed solution that transforms any glass of water into a functional flower vase.
These patterned plates sit on top of a standard glass, acting as a support grid for flower stems, keeping them upright and evenly spaced while the water remains fully contained in the glass. The result is a clean, efficient system that avoids the need for watertight prints while still allowing you to display fresh flowers beautifully.
Each design is based on a different place, translated into geometry and color:
- Tres Cantos (red) — triangular form with star-like perforations, inspired by your hometown.
- Chiclana (yellow) — circular shape with flowing linear openings, evoking waves and summer.
- Barcelona (blue) — square format featuring the iconic panot pattern, reflecting its creative identity.
Despite their personal origin, these pieces are universal in use. By changing scale, color, or pattern, anyone can reinterpret them — turning a simple glass into a customizable floral display.
Lightweight, fast to print, and material-efficient, they offer a smart alternative to traditional vases while adding a graphic, architectural touch.
_How to Print Supports: Not required Orientation: Print flat on the build plate Layer height: 0.20 mm recommended Infill: Low (10–20%) or adjust depending on desired strength Settings: Standard print configuration
These models are optimized for quick and clean printing. Focus on good first layer adhesion to ensure flatness and proper fit on the glass.
