The Neubaufahrzeug (Nb.Fz.) with the Krupp turret was the definitive version of Germany's experimental multi-turreted heavy tank project from the mid-1930s. While Rheinmetall designed the chassis, the Krupp turret was deemed superior to Rheinmetall's own design and was fitted to the majority of the prototypes.
