The Crusader III Anti-Aircraft (AA) Mark II was a British self-propelled anti-aircraft gun used during World War II, based on the chassis of the Crusader Mk III cruiser tank. Key Specifications & Design Armament: It featured a pair of 20mm Oerlikon autocannons mounted in a fully enclosed, polygonal turret. Secondary Armament: A single .303 (7.7mm) Vickers GO machine gun was also fitted for additional defense. Chassis: It utilized the Crusader cruiser tank hull, which provided excellent mobility but relatively light armor. Production: Approximately 600 units of the Mk II and Mk III variants were produced.
