Calla Lily Pens

Calla Lily Pens - Delightful. As is my custom for pots, I printed the vase with seam position set in my slicer to "random" instead of "aligned," since I prefer randomly patterned zits/bumps over a visible seam. To make the flower caps fit comfortably on the pens, I used a heat gun: holding the gun a couple inches from the base of the cap, on low setting, for about five seconds, before immediately pushing the cap onto the stem with the pen inside. (Heat guns come in different powers, so YMMV.) - 3d model

Medieval Dragon Book Box

Medieval Dragon Book Box - I normally rely on silk filaments when I want drama, but in this case I used an unremarkable non-silk and got all the drama I could want. Unless I hold it directly beneath and exactly perpendicular to the incoming light, this print creates lots of lovely shadow. - 3d model

Baby Dragon Pot

Baby Dragon Pot - Delightful! If, like me, you aren't painting, check the seam location in the slicer before printing this adorable guy. (Leaving the seam position at Orca's default "aligned" would have resulted in a seam down the front of the pot; super noticeable in silk filament, but not an issue at all if you're going to paint it.) - 3d model
