Rock Lamp
I designed a Rock Lamp as an experiment I have wanted to explore for a long time. The goal was to create something more organic and textural, contrasting against a clean and minimal lampshade. Using Marble PLA, the form takes on a modern and sculptural quality, allowing the lamp to function not only as a source of light, but also as a statement piece within a space.
Instructions
- 3MF file and individual STLs are included
- Use a lower layer height such as .12mm for a higher quality finish and print (Optional)
Lamp Base
- No supports required
- Everything is printed in one piece
- When slicing the model, it may trigger a warning on floating regions, from my experience the print will still come out fine. The unsupported regions are mostly from the small textural deformations and would not affect the larger print itself
Lamp Shade
- No supports required
- Locks into the base through a twist lock mechanism
Filament
- Kexcelled Magic PLA (aka Marble PLA)
- ESUN White PLA+ (Lamp Shade)
