I got hooked 3D printing while building a scale model of an amusement park.  Note that since most of my models are designed with Blender, you’ll need to reduce their scale by 50% for printing.

This is a simplistic recreation of the Mangels kiddie carousel at Mountain Park in Holyoke, MA.  It was designed for my park model:  http://www.karenandjay.com/mtpark/mpmodel/mpmodel.html

Print 24 of these horses.  They sit 3 abreast on the ride deck.  The STL looks wonky but they print fine.

Place a 10 gauge wire or wood dowel into the motor house at the center of the ride deck, and then place this rounding board on top of the dowel.  The rounding board should be the same diameter as the deck.
