It won't fit properly. I think there has to be more spacing between the sliding mechanic.
Sorry to hear you're having issues! I’ve just added an image to the listing that shows the best way to orientate the parts. If you print them that way, it should help ensure both parts fit together nicely. Let me know if you’re still having problems.
So the only reason it's a two-part model is: you want to avoid supports inbetween two surfaces or do I miss something?
Hi! Yes, you're right, one reason I made it a two-part model is to avoid using supports. The second reason is to allow the hook section to be easily replaced if it breaks, and to provide access to the pull tab on the command strip for simpler removal. Hope that makes sense!
