Freezer Handle Bracket (GE REPAIR/UPGRADE)
Don't forget to ❤️, add to a collection, and follow SUNA for more fun creations!
Fix your freezer door and avoid giving more money to GE! They charge over $10 for this little piece of plastic 💸
I bought one as a replacement and it broke even faster than the original one so I said to hell with that nonsense and modeled one up! I made my version tighter fitting and a bit sturdier since the freezer handle had an unpleasant amount of play in it using the OEM handle fastener. This one will be tight to assemble but the handle should lock in very snug and NOT MOVE AT ALL once you have it in place. Don't force it of course - I included the STEP files with this in case you want to make any modifications to better suit your needs!
Printed Weight: ~4g + <1g waste (PETG)
Additional Info: THIS IS A REPLACEMENT/UPGRADE PART FOR GE REFRIGERATORS
PRINTING:
- For best results, start with the 3mf
- Dialed in supports help a ton - I had to use a small blade to pick them out from between the two "shelves" in the geomety
- Print with alignment pin side down for the main body
- Print nearly solid for a sturdy, reliable part (~8 shells)
