Decorative display stand for dolls (1/6 scale / 11–12”). Original design featuring a chain-style column and a haunted-themed base, made for FDM printing and 3-piece assembly.

This display stand combines a gothic/haunted aesthetic with a functional, stable design for collectible dolls (1/6 scale / 11–12”). The column features an interwoven chain style that adds presence and visual rigidity, while the base includes relief details and chains that reinforce the theme.

Note: We recommend printing the grip/holder piece in a slightly more durable material if you plan to handle it often (PETG recommended).

Recommended material

PETG (ideal for durability; looks stunning in translucent filament)

PLA also works, but it’s less tolerant to impacts/flexing.

Nozzle: 0.4 mm

Layer height:

0.20 mm (balanced)

0.12–0.16 mm (more detail)

0.08 mm (premium; longer print time)

**PETG tips (important) ** Dry your filament if you notice stringing (“spiderwebs”).

If the grip is too tight or too loose, adjust XY compensation in your slicer (±0.05 to 0.15 mm).

Assembly

Insert the column into the base (cylindrical fit).

Attach the grip/holder piece at the top.

Optional: a small drop of glue for a permanent fit (not recommended if you want to disassemble it for transport).
