With gloves on his claws and a stick held up tight, he zipped past the others, what a speedy small sight!

“Go Pip! Go Pip!” all his teammates would say, as he whooshed and he zoomed, and he dashed down the way.

He spun, he slid, and did a flip, what a sight! Tap-tap......SLAPSHOT! …the goal light burned bright

His friends cheered, “HOORAY!” with a clap-stomp-roar sound, As Pip gave a wiggle and skated around.

They may have all won on that bright, busy day… But that’s not why Pip felt so happy to play.

He grinned at his team, every girl, every boy, Just being together was his favorite joy.

So win or so lose, it was always the same… Pip loved his friends more than the score of the game.
