Eye Book Storage

The Eye Book Storage model is a distinctive, book-shaped storage box featuring a wood-carved and eye-themed design. The lid opens like a book cover to reveal a hidden compartment, perfect for storing jewelry, keepsakes, or other small treasures. It’s a great gift for those who appreciate unique and artistic creations!

Print Settings:

Supports: None required; ignore any slicer warnings.
Infill: 15% (can be reduced if desired).
Print Orientation: Print in place, as displayed in the images.
Size: Do not resize; for custom sizing, please contact me.

Assembly Requirements:

Magnets: Two 10mm x 2mm magnets to secure the lid and box.
Glue: Use super glue to attach the magnets in their slots, and wood glue to secure the box to the bottom cover.

Assembly Instructions:

Paint First: Paint all parts before assembly for the best finish.
Attach Magnets: Secure the magnets in place using super glue.
Glue the Box: Use wood glue to attach the box to the bottom cover.
Secure with Tape: Close the lid and wrap masking tape around the entire book to hold it firmly while the glue dries.

Allow the glue to dry fully before handling or use.

Book Box Internal Height: 33mm.

Hi, I’ve set the bottom angle at 45° to align with the rest of the box’s exterior design. However, I can modify it and upload a version with a completely flat bottom if that works better for you. Let me know your preference!

Alternatively, you could try adding a brim around the box as a solution to improve stability during printing.

I would appreciate a flat bottom just for ease of printing and no supports if you could. Thank you! And fyi, I'm loving your designs! PLease keep turning out more great models!

Thanks! The next design will feature a Knight theme with a flat, square base/bottom. This flat base will also be compatible with all the book box designs. Cheers!

Hey! Love the look of this one, but I'm having trouble getting it to lay flat in the slicer. The bottom face is angled of the actual bottom of the box by about 10-15 degrees. Just me or is there something I'm not seeing? First time I've had this issue with one of your boxes.
