Would it be possible to add ducting to the other side of this? basically to mount behind the X axis and have it push the air to the freshly printed parts?
If you can find something that fits, yes. However, those types of fans aren't the best for stuff like that; you lose a lot of airflow when ducting it, especially when you go down to a smaller size to direct it.
