Process Video

A key cover made for the 68 (Schlage, SC1, C) type key. The key is embedded into the print by pausing at 3.4mm and, if necessary, moving the extruder out of the way, to place the key inside the print. Optionally, you can also do a filament change at 4.8 mm to introduce a second color for the top pattern.

Pause at Z height 3.4mm to embed key, and at 4.8mm to change colors.

If the layer isn't clean above the key, increase infill/bridging overlap in your slicer, or dry a coat of hairspray on the key.
