Thin Wire Stripper

Consider yourself challenged. If you have your printer settings dialed in properly and your filament is dry, this little gadget works like a charm.

Cleanly strips 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2.0, 2.25 & 2.5 mm wires. Insert the wire into the appropriate groove, press down and then spin the stripper and pull the stripper away from the wire. Ta da - success. It takes a little practice for someone who has never stripped wires. I designed this when I needed a wire stripper for stripping insulation from ultra-thin LED wires.

You will need one standard utility razor (reference the photos), one hex bolt 4mm x 30mm and one M4 vinyl lock nut - or you can remix it to work with different bolts etc.

Insert the bolt and nut and tighten it down, CAREFULLY insert the razor into the slot until it seats firmly, then press the two pieces together firmly to seat the razor blade. IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE HANDLING A SHARP RAZOR HAVE SOMEONE DO IT FOR YOU! THIS IS MEANT TO BE ASSEMBLED BY AN ADULT. The blade must be seated completely into the top piece to work properly.

Best printed with PLA+ at 10% moisture with 50% triangular infill.

Dry your filament, eat your vegetables, don't do drugs.
