Flexi Hybrid Axolotl
3D model description Features hybrid classic flexi legs with a unique link tail, head fins & new style body -has many unique connections making him a truly one of a kind flexi
Each of the 6 head fins flexes and fidgets individually and the tail even flexes flush creating a solid appearing tail
Super easy to print requiring no brim or support with no glue requiring and a simple assembly that can be completed in just seconds, simply click the head into the neck and he's ready!
Choose your unique axolotl colors and print, I chose to print mine in a pretty pink with translucent tail and a second axolotl in a beautiful blue translucent with silk fins
3D printing settings Print in place with no brim or support required, once printed just push the head into the neck socket, ready to flexi in just seconds
Super easy to print, included is multiple painted print profiles fully optimised, if using the print profile simply choose your colors & print
For those printing using the stl files I recommend the following settings
Turn elephant foot compensation down to 0 to ensure the head fins remain flexible
Arachne walls recommended & first layer line width reduced to 0.40- 0.42
I chose 0.16 layer height for the head for better detail and o.2 for the body (just a personal preference)
Gyroid infill recommended
I recommend also enabling z-hop in the slicer to help printers with lower bed adhesion (enabled by default in the print profiles)
For anyone who wishes to print the main color in silk I recommend using an ams system and printing just the head & neck socket in regular pla due to strength issues
