Pokebox Card holder
This Pokebox has a hinged top with latch and a release button to open it. It will hold over a 100 Pokemon cards. The inside of the box measures; 2.75" w x 1.69" d x 4" h.
After printing the required parts put the ring and the button in between the top and the bottom loops with a .5" long ball point pin spring behind the button and glue the rings together. Then glue the loop assembly onto to the base. There are alignment guides so it can only be glued in the correct orientation Attach the hinge on the lid to the hinge on the top loop using some 1.75mm diameter filament and glue the filament in place on both ends.
Don’t print the assembly model, it’s for reference only. If you are interested here are my affiliate links to the filament I used. White: https://amzn.to/2TL9JLF Black: https://amzn.to/2Bz1hrR Red: https://amzn.to/2ByrOWk

I printed two of these for my kids for Christmas - they worked perfectly! The design is super solid. Thanks for designing these!
Printed perfectly! Playing around with my new Bambu Lab P2S and out of curiosity printed it with ASA/PETG (didn't have all colors in one filament). Everything worked, even the button without supports, although the slicer warned me I could be in trouble :) The only comment: when trying to print multiple white parts on the same plate, the smaller ones kept disconnecting from the plate for whatever reason, but if printed one by one, everything worked like a charm!
Will this Hold cards with sleeves, I want to print it for my son.
Not at its current scale.
can you make it with magnets for lock?
how do you assemble in general
does the ring go around the button
where does the catch go
Glues on the lid.
What orientation do you print the button in?
It should be in the print orientation. You will need supports.
What are the differences between the catches?
I just printed this at 100% and it's printing a little narrower on the left side of the box at 61.7mm vs. 63mm on the right side. Is that in the STL file, or do I need to change it somehow? Sorry, new to printing
That is strange, I'm not sure. I really don't think its the model. Are you printing on a i3? (ender, pursa) It could be that the x-axis is not level to the bed? Just a thought.
