Print-in-Place “On-Air” Word Swap Sign

My daughter wanted a sign for her door so she is not interrupted when recording Instagram videos, so I made her this sign that swaps words from “On Air” to “Knock” when you turn the knob.

Printing The sign is 34mm tall x 165mm long with 21mm high letters. It prints-in-place with no supports. To get the color change I did a filament swap at layer 14 and 20, with .2mm layer heights and 6 top layers.

Mounting There is a mounting bracket that slides onto the sign from an end and stay in place with a friction fit. There are two mounting holes for screws, or in my case I used these Command strips (aff.) to attach it to the door.
