Magnetic Cable Tie

This cable tie is printed out of flexible filament and uses two magnets embedded into each end of the tie to attach the ends together after being wrapped around the bundled cable.

It’s designed to be printed at .2 layer heights, there will be 3 bottom layers and 4 top. This is to get the smallest distance between the magnets when they are together. On layer twenty you will need to pause the print to insert the magnets. It uses 8mm Diameter x 3mm high neodymium magnets(aff). Make sure they are neodymium, otherwise they might not be strong enough. Printed with [Sainsmart TPU.
