Smooth Passive Speaker
A passive speaker that will fit most phones.
It has a hole in the bottom so the phone can be played whilst plugged in.
If you haven't come across one of these before, they amplify your phone sound without the need for electricity, you just place your phone into the top. Great for the bathroom :)
Print with supports touching buildplate, only for the wire hole and the top of the phone hole.

I have an insert for this speaker which improves sound for phones with downward facing speakers that you can download here: https://than.gs/m/1126503

A little fuzzy on the supports. No matter how I orient it there seems to be some pretty significant bridges. Which side should be sitting on the build plate? Should it be sitting on it's back, with the speaker opening facing up?
It prints in the original orientation, on its end, not on its back. This way you only need supports for the wire hole and the top of the slot for the phone. :)
just a fraction tall for my other printer in that orientation,so I have wait for my bambu to finish it's current print
OK it's printed. The result is really clean I like it. My feed back: It doesn't fit an iPhone 15 pro Max with a case. But I guess this phone doesn't really need a passive speaker. Moreover this phone has speakers at the bottom and and the top, thus the amplification for this phone is almost not noticeable. But nice model anyway ;)
HI, I really love your models and plan to print this one but I have a question. I activated the supports but can't see any in the preview, is that normal? (I have a BL X1C).
Thanks in advance for your reply!
I might have found on my own, with tree supports, I am more confident now ;)
Thanks, I did eventually see that seemed to be the best orientation (small side down, closest to "holes"). I generally don't trust how the model is imported, too much history of bad starting positions. I need to learn trust :-)
Note the layer lines don't tell the whole story, printing on its back would also do that. The top would tell me, but I couldn't to see what the layer lines were doing. But yeah, original orientation. I was thinking about printing at 45, strength is good :-)
thats the way the op printed it if u look at the layer lines. if your looking for highest strength tho place on a 45 ish from the baseplate. it costs more in support material but gives a much stronger finished product on a box.
