Don your shades, whirl your trenchcoat, and engage bullet time with this rapid-fire tile for Hextraction, the hackable, 3D printable board game. The second tile in Booster Pack 2: Time is of the Hexes features a crazy game-accelerating effect, iconic artwork, and a unique multi-material presentation.

The instant this funky tile hits the table, the game goes absolutely haywire as each player immediately dumps their entire hand onto the board. Like Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving waving plastic Deagles on 1999's finest wirework, this action-packed tile compresses three entire turns of board development into a single frenzied moment.

This also nullifies all On Play effects - I added this because resolving 12 consecutive, possibly simultaneous rules cards is a nightmare, but it also makes the Matrix Tile a catch-all counterplay to the powerful effects your greedy foes are sandbagging. If one of your buddies always stocks their starting hand with overpowered effects, perhaps it's time to jack in and see the Matrix Tile. You think those are balls you're rolling?

I'd caution against putting too many of these in the pool. While one or two really speeds up the game, it's a long and complex effect that will get obnoxious if fired repeatedly. Also remember that if the board is full, this tile will probably derail the entire game. Deploy your kung fu responsibly.

This tile can be printed in any rigid filament, but if you can, I strongly recommend making the two-color version! Black is the obvious choice, and for the snappiest code-rain effect, I recommend a translucent fluorescent green. To print the single-color version, just run off a few copies of Matrix Tile and 1-Color Card. For multi-material fun, drag Matrix Tile and 2-Color Details into your slicer simultaneously, and when prompted, select "Load these as a single object with multiple parts." Repeat with 2-Color Card and 2-Color Card Details, and assign filaments as desired. I've prepared a ready-to-print 3MF file that should work in PrusaSlicer, SuperSlicer, and Bambu Studio.

If you'd like to edit the tile, the source is here: https://a360.co/3NR8Sae While you're free to re-distribute the tile outside Thangs' paywall, I'd like to ask that you at least modify it a bit. The fewer people buy Booster Packs, the less time I can devote to making more.
